Chicago Bucket List

After living in D.C. for most of my life, I sort of felt like I had seen everything there was, and eaten at all the best restaurants (save one or two).  Now, having just moved to Chicago, everything is new to me.  Based on what I've read on the internet and the people I've met so far have to say about the City, I've decided to create a Chicago "bucket list" outlining all the places I need to go and things I need to see before I can move away.

Go to a Cubs game.   Wrigley Field is a 10 minute walk from my new apartment.  I love sitting outside and drinking beer in public.  No excuses.

Sky Deck. Sears Willis Tower (whatever). No proposals, please.

Chicago Santa Speedo Run. Also the Chicago Marathon.

Check out Goose Island Brewery.

Ride the ferris wheel at Navy Pier.

Haunted Chicago Tour for Halloween, my absolute favorite holiday.

See a jazz show.  Visit a speakeasy.  Make homemade liquier.  Have a prohibition themed night.

Andersonville Dessert Walk. No explanation, right up my alley. Other food bucket list items include having dinner at Alinea, Moto, any Bayless Restaurant, NoMI, Hot Chocolate. Visit Margie's Candies for a sundae... a burger at Kuma's (Supposed best burger in the city. As a carnivore, and an American,  I must know).

OK one more food related: Try a new brunch spot every month. Breakfast food is everywhere in this town. And not just on Sundays.

Ride a boat on Lake Michigan.

Sound of Music Sing along at Music Box Theater.

Ice skate on top of the Hanncock building.
